The duration of the events of All-Russia festival "Uglich versta" will be two and a half weeks, the length of its routes – hundreds of kilometers.

The VII All-Russia cyclimg festival "Uglich versta" will be held in Yaroslavl region on June 20-22, 2014.

Professional cyclists and just fans of cycling tours as well as the leading cycling clubs of the country will participate in the event.

"Uglich versta" is going to include virtually all types of cycling competitions and entertainments: cycling parade, cycling races, cycling trips, cycling marathon, cycling excursions, cycling quests, pedal cars, cycling films, cycling rides, cycling camp, cycling presentations.

The cycling celebration runs for three days and starts by the first Russian festival of films about bicycles "VELOKINO".

Uglich will greet the participants of three cycling marathons: Moscow – Uglich of 300 km, Dmitrov – Uglich of 200 km, Tikhvin – Uglich of 600 km.

In colorful cycling parade on June 21 some 300 cyclists aged from 3 to 70 years will take part. Anyone may join the parade.

Uglich cycling festival is positioned as a family holiday. Cycling families come to the event even with infant toddlers.

For young participants the organizers provide children cycling attractions, special competitions by three- and two-wheeled bicycles.

For children of 10-14 years the separate race will be organized, each participant of the race will receive a commemorative gift.

Cycling trip through Russian province will go by two routes: 30 km long for beginners and 80 km long. Cycling trips will finish in the evening at the campground located in a pine forest at the bank of the river Volga.

At sunset all participants will enjoy the jazz festival with guests arriving from New Orleans.

From the tent camp one more multi-kilometer trip will start – around the Rybinsk Sea with the participation of several cycling clubs of the country.
